Eric Richardson. Android fan. As a mobile computing enthusiast, I’ve been interested in smart phone tehnology for a number of years, but it wasn’t until Android came along to spur me into getting really involved with the operating system. Android, to me, is more than a smartphone platform, it’s a culture. A culture of open technology, and close collaboration.

Anyways, about me. Currently I’m a student in the programming field,  and loving it. My lifelong interest has been with computers, what makes them tick, and how to make them better. Previous to my current situation though, I was on a mug different track. I served 6 years in the United States Air Force as an F-15E mechanic, leaving honorably as an E-5 with an eye set towards doing what I really enjoyed doing instead of fixing jets.

I inherited my passion for tech from my father who spent his whole life programming in several different languages, most of which look like gibberish to me.

So that’s me, in a nutshell. Pretty average guy with a healthy interest in Android. At least I think it’s healthy…
